STIR

The oil terminal STIR is situated ahead of the Bizerta Port and consists of (north and south) oil quays.

Berthing and unberthing night are allowed the both at night and day for the south quay and only the day for the north quay.

The loading and unloading facilities ensure a pumping output of 2000T/H for crude and 700 T/H for other products.
 

THE NORTH QUAY 

It's 35 feet draft of water (10.67m), ensures this quay for the berthing and the loading of ships up to 60.000 tons. Accepted ships should have a maximum length of 250 m and a distance manifolds from the back of the ship not exceeding 125 m.
The transported products are:

  • Crude oil
  • Petrol
  • Virgin Naphta
  • Kerosene
  • Jet A1
  • Gas oil
  • Fuel Oil
  • Atmosphéric waste.
     

THE SOUTH QUAY 

Its 27 feet draft (8.23 m), ensures the berthing and the loading of ships with a 15.000 tons -capacity.
Accepted ships should have a maximum length of 150 m.
